Woodstock is a forest inventory method developed by the Probos Foundation and Silve. The purpose of this forest inventory system is to collect data on which estimates of key forest figures at company or management unit level are based. These key figures (stem density, standing stock, gross annual increment) are estimated to support medium-term management planning. The information collected serves to derive objectives and to evaluate the effectiveness of the management in achieving objectives. For more information see: www.silve.nl (Dutch only).
